12”x16” Acrylic and Acrylic Ink on hand-stretched raw canvas, framed

How does our concept of home shape us? What perimeters — imposed or natural — exist to define the world around us? This body of work explores nature's own borders: the places where edges blend, colors meld, and textures emerge as paint interacts freely on a raw, lightly primed canvas. At times, visible landscapes resolve — sky meets land, water reflects and horizons appear almost by invitation. At others, the work resists resolution and holds its own loose, elemental form, refusing to be named.

At what point does a mark becomes a boundary, a landscape becomes a place, nature become territory? These paintings are my attempt to sit inside that moment and look carefully at what it holds, listen to what nature itself has to tell us, and find my own place amongst it.
